35. Control multiple parameters using one encoder from multiple plugins

Multiple Plugin Control

This feature is available to plugins hosted in the same Multihost, Instrument of FX.

To control multiple parameters from multiple plugins using one encoder:

1. Set an id in each parameter for each plugin. 

Plugin 1 > Show encoder options > enter 1 in the red box on the linked encoder to Cutoff

Plugin 2 > Show encoder options > enter 2 in the red box on the linked encoder to Frequency

2. Click on Multi Plugin Control

Click on the Encoder Options button and set the same CC number in both parameters.

The CC number is the encoder ID. So 0 is the first encoder starting from the bottom left.

Move the first encoder, now it controls both parameters.

Please note that automation in the DAW will be recorded as 2 parameters, Frequency and Cutoff
