7. MIDI Controller C1-xMP1 not detected

If the C1-xMP1 does not show up in the

Mac: System Report > USB

See here

Windows: Device Manager

See here

Then it is caused either by a connection problem (ie cable or going through a hub).

Connect it directly using the cable provided to the computer’s USB-A port (not USB-C port).

If that does not solve the problem, then the next thing to check is the internal micro-USB port that connects the MIDI port of the enclosure to the C1-xMP1 port.

This is a standard micro-usb port and it can be the case that is has moved from its position and causing the issue.

To get to the micro-usb port, one needs to unscrew the bottom cover. (Only the bottom screws need to be removed, not the side screws)

There is only one micro-usb port. Disconnect and connect it again, ensuring that it is in the right position. That should solve the connection issue. Connect it again on the computer and check that C1-xMP1 shows up in the Device Manager or System Report.
